Dark skies in Scotland

One of the wonderful things we never tire of at Ceannabeinne is the fact we are completely isolated, and have no street lights or neighbours with lights to pollute our night sky.

If you are a star gazer, Ceannabeinne is the perfect place to stay. There is an uninterrupted view to the north, over the sea.

If you venture onto Ceannabeinne beach, obviously at low tide and take a torch with you, for your ascent back to the car park, the view of the stars from the beach is magnificent.
