Looking towards 2022

2021 has been a difficult year for everyone. In 2020 we all crossed our fingers that the following year would be better. Sadly it didn’t work out quite like that. But maybe, just maybe in 2022 we will be able to go back to a little more normality.

Lounge and telly

Covid issues delayed us being able to do a refurbishment of the lounge in Ceannabeinne, but finally in November we managed to get the work done over a mammoth five week project. The central heating in the room had sprung a leak and while renewing all of that, we took the opportunity to insulate all the walls and redecorate the whole room. We are very pleased with the results and it’s given us a much warmer and cosier sitting room.

We also have a long term project with our closest neighbour Ian Morrison to repair and rebuild all the walls surrounding our ‘garden’.  He’s making good progress and when we are up next in January we will be doing some repair work on the chimney and roof.

Everything we do helps to improve the cottage and the quality of your stay at Ceannabeinne. We love to hear your comments when we speak to you and read them in the visitors book. It’s good to know they make a difference to your stay.

2022 is already shaping up to be a busy year with bookings, which is terrific and we look forward to welcoming our  guests new and old.

We wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that 2022 is better for us all.
