2020 – Weirdest year ever….

So it’s been a disturbing, sad and weird year so far, and we haven’t posted anything because to be honest, we had nothing to post!

We obviously had to close the cottage, as all holiday accommodation in Scotland and the UK closed in March, but it now looks like a little bit of light on the horizon and we hope to be open on 15th July and taking bookings from 18th July.

It’s not 100% confirmed yet, but the Covid- 19 infection rate is receding, and with continued social distancing (and a self-catering cottage is great for that) we hope we can have some guests back to stay very soon.

We’d recommend you bring as much of your groceries and foodstuffs with you for the week, as we are unaware of what will be fully open as yet. Fuel can be bought in Durness with a remote credit card transaction but pubs and restaurants may not be open when you stay.

We are putting a deep cleaning schedule in place, and special measures to protect guests and our Housekeeper. Details will be sent to you when you book.

It has been a difficult year for everyone, but with planning and new routines we hope everyone who stays with us can have a marvellous holiday and enjoy the wonderful Highlands.
